Dr. Mark Klug

Dr. Mark Klug is one of the most respected surgeons in his field and has a loyal patient following. Called to medicine while still in high school, Dr. Klug’s love for biology propelled him into the hand surgery profession. He earned his Bachelor Degree from the University of Dayton and his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati. During his fellowship, Dr. Klug trained at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Besides having an active role in the Dayton community helping residents and coaching basketball, Dr. Klug donates time and money abroad with philanthropic endeavors. His dedication to the medical profession is apparent through his mission trips to Guatemala where he has helped hundreds of adults and children in need of care.

"Micro surgery requires a team. Doing it single handedly can be stressful when you are not rested. At the hand center we have enough manpower to get the job done."
